Kiar-e Sharqi Rural District (Persian: دهستان كيار شرقي) is in the Central District of Kiar County, Chaharmahal and Bakhtiari province, Iran.[3] Its capital is the village of Dezak.[4]

At the National Census of 2006, its population (as a part of the former Kiar District of Shahrekord County) was 8,540 in 2,041 households.[5] There were 8,356 inhabitants in 2,353 households at the following census of 2011,[6] by which time the district had been separated from the county in the establishment of Kiar County.[3] At the most recent census of 2016, the population of the rural district was 7,699 in 2,335 households. The most populous of its five villages was Dezak, with 2,942 people.[2]
