The New Jersey Historical Commission (NJHC) is a government agency of the U.S. state of New Jersey. Its mission is "to enrich the lives of the public by preserving the historical record and advancing interest in and awareness of New Jersey's past".

The NJHC offers General Operating Support Grants, Project Grants, County History Partnership Grants and more to support a variety of programs and activities related to New Jersey history. It also offers prizes and free archival evaluation services through the Caucus Archival Projects Evaluation Service or CAPES. [1]
