Marella Discovery 2 on Marella Cruisesin vuonna 1995 Ranskassa valmistunut Vision-luokan risteilyalus.
Rakentaminen
Alus tilattiin Chantiers de l'Atlantiquelta St. Nazairesta Ranskasta. Sen köli laskettiin 15. joulukuuta 1993 telakkanumerolla A31 ja alus laskettiin vesille 5. syyskuuta 1994. Alus luovutettiin 28. huhtikuuta 1995 Monroviaan Liberiaan rekisteröidylle Royal Caribbean Cruises Limitedille ja aluksen operointi vastuu luovutettiin RCL Cruises Limitedille.[2]
Käyttöhistoria
Alus aloitti 16. toukokuuta 1995 ensimmäisen risteilynsä Miamista Los Angelesiin. Se ajoi karille Catalinan saaren edustalla 29. marraskuuta 1996. Alus siirrettiin 24. maaliskuuta 2003 Bahaman lipun alle kotipaikkanaan Nassau.[2]
