Hanif Kureishi, (Londres, 5 de dezembro de 1954) é um dramaturgo, roteirista, cineasta e romancista britânico de ascendência paquistanesa e inglesa.^[1] Em 2008, o jornal The Times incluiu Kureishi na sua lista dos "50 maiores escritores britânicos desde 1945".^[2]

Em 26 de Dezembro de 2022, depois de uma queda em Roma, ficou impossibilitado de controlar os seus membros. Iniciou as suas memórias, ditando o texto.^[3]
