Big Jake (sh. Veliki Jake) je američki vestern film snimljen 1971. godine u režiji Georgea Shermana kome je to bilo posljednje ostvarenje u filmografiji. Radnja se događa u Teksasu 1909. gdje grupa razbojnika na čelu sa okrutnim Johnom Fainom (čiji lik tumači Richard Boone) napadne ranč porodice McCandles i otima 8-godišnjeg dječaka kako bi od njegovih roditelja ishodila otkupninu od milion dolara. Protagonist, čiji lik tumači John Wayne, je dječakov djed Jacob McCandles koji okuplja dvojicu sinova i još nekoliko pomagača te sa njima odlazi u Meksiko kako bi pokušao osloboditi unuka. Big Jake je Wayne posredno producirao te je inzistirao da film režira njegov prijatelj i dugogodišnji suradnik Sherman; na samom snimanju je Sherman zbog poodmakle dobi i narušenog zdravlja često morao prepuštati režiju pojedinih scena Wayneu. Big Jake je karakterističan po scenama humora, na kojima je inzistirao Wayne, uplašen da film ima previše scena nasilja. Iako kritičlari nisu cijenili tu kombinaciju, Big Jake je imao solidan komercijalni uspjeh.
