ブルース・ラセット

ブルース・マーティン・ラセット（Bruce Martin Russett、1935年1月25日 - 2023年9月22日）は、アメリカ合衆国の国際政治学者。イェール大学国際関係論・政治学教授。

経歴

ウィリアムズ大学およびケンブリッジ大学卒業後、イェール大学大学院で博士号取得。学術雑誌Journal of Conflict Resolution 誌の編集長を1972年から2009年まで務めた。

「民主主義国は互いに戦争することが少ない」という民主的平和論（democratic peace）の代表的論者。日本人の教え子に鴨武彦、猪口邦子、大芝亮などがいる。
